Frågan "how would your religious beliefs, if you're elected, impact the decisions that you make in the office of the presidency?" ställdes och fick bl a dessa svar:
Newt Gingrich:
"I think anyone who is president is faced with decisions so enormous that they should go to God. They should seek guidance. Because these are decisions beyond the ability of mere mortals to truly decide without some sense of what it is we should be doing.
I would say, second, that we have a real obligation to recognize that, if you're truly faithful, it's not just an hour on Sundays or Saturdays or Fridays. It's in fact something that should suffuse your life, to be a part of who you are. And in that sense, it is inextricably tied in with how you behave.
But I would say, third, one of the reasons I am running is there has been an increasingly aggressive war against religion and in particular against Christianity in this country, largely by a secular elite and the academic news media and judicial areas. And I frankly believe it's important to have some leadership that stands up and says, enough; we are truly guaranteed the right of religious freedom, not religious suppression by the state."
Rick Santorum:
"Faith is a very, very important part of my life, but it's a very, very important part of this country. The foundational documents of our country -- everybody talks about the Constitution, very, very important. But the Constitution is the "how" of America. It's the operator's manual.
The "why" of America, who we are as a people, is in the Declaration of Independence, "We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights."
The Constitution is there to do one thing: protect God-given rights. That's what makes America different than every other country in the world. No other country in the world has its rights -- rights based in God-given rights, not government-given rights.
And so when you say, well, faith has nothing to do with it, faith has everything to do with it. If our president believes that rights come to us from the state, everything government gives you, it can take away. The role of the government is to protect rights that cannot be taken away.
And so the answer to that question is, I believe in faith and reason and approaching the problems of this country but understand where those rights come from, who we are as Americans and the foundational principles by which we have changed the world."
Sedan något helt annat där det kontroversiella var det fetstilta i en del av Santorums svar på frågan "Why do you think you're the best, most qualified person on this stage to beat President Obama?". Först kontrasterar han sig mot sina konkurrenter...
"This is an election about fundamental freedom. It's about who America is going to be. Are we a country that's going to be built great from the bottom up, as our founders intended, or from the top down?
I just think I'm a lot better than the previous two speakers to be able to make that case to the American people. I'm not for a top- down government-run health care system. I wasn't for the Wall Street bailouts like these two gentlemen were.
Governor Romney talks about the private sector and how he's going to bring private sector. When the private sector was in trouble, he voted for government to come in and take over the private sector and be able to -- and to bail them out.
Cap-and-trade -- both of them bought into the global warming hoax, bought into the cap-and-trade, top-down control of our energy and manufacturing sector."

I ett kapitel om media nämns bl a hur PBS (amerikansk icke-vinstdrivande TV-kanal) i serien America at a Crossroads om islam i väst stoppade avsnittet "Islam vs. Islamists".
...perhaps the archetypical TV treatment of Islam in the post-9/11 era. In service of the thesis that Christian and Jewish extremism is as widespread and dangerous today as Muslim extremism, the producers seemed to have sought out the most radical Christians and Jews they could find, the cameraman filmed their gatherings in ways plainly designed to make them look even more radical, and Christiane Amanpour asked accusatory questions that emphasized their fanaticism. Meanwhile Amanpour apparently did her best to make jihadists sympathetic. Indeed, the very concept of jihad was absent from her picture of God's Muslim warriors, whom she depicted not as fighting to conquer the world for Islam but as reacting to west bank settlements. "Muslims, like people everywhere, abhore terrorism," she said. "The small minority who resort to violence is symptomatic of something many of us have failed to understand: the impact of God's Jewish warriors goes far beyond the se rocky hills. The Jewish settlements have inflamed much of the Muslim world." In short, if it was not for Jewish warriors -- that is West Bank settlers -- there would be no Muslim warriors.
Bl a Alex Safian (Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America) var kritisk och påpekade att...
..."two apolitical segments" in God's Muslims Warriors featuring "appealing devout Muslim woman who talked about why they wear head covering and how Islam enriches their lives." There were no similar segments segments in the series about charmingly pious Jews or Christians.
...equating "Jewish and Christian political movements, even Jewish lobbyists in Congress" with Muslim terrorists -- the exception being that she strove to "understand" the latter. Abrams noted that even as Amanpour "portray[ed] Muslims as victims," she accus[ed] evangelical Christians of playing the victim" -- an upside-down picture that is, of course, standard in today's media.

Artikel om Grønland, Oslo -- Deadly 'Diversity'
Deadly ‘Diversity’
The neighborhood of Grønland in Oslo, Norway, is not terribly large. It’s on the east side of town, adjacent to central Oslo, and has traditionally been a place of working-class flats and unpretentious pubs. Ever since Norway began to be the destination of immigrants from the Muslim world, however, Grønland has been home to an increasing number of Muslim families and businesses. In recent years, furthermore, it has become an attractive residential area for young Norwegian singles and families, for many of whom part of the lure of living in this part of town was that they wanted to be part of a “multicultural” community. As a result of the influx of these these young people – including no small number of gays – a number of hip restaurants and cafes have sprung up in the area.
Of late, however, as the city’s Muslim population has boomed, Grønland has been undergoing a transition from a mixed neighborhood to an essentially Muslim one.
In an Aftenposten article in January 2010, Olga Stokke and Hilde Lundegaard cited one Grønland resident’s observation – which is consistent with my own and that of many of my friends and colleagues – that since 9/11 the neighborhood has taken a sharply negative turn. More women are wearing hijab, if not burkas; and there has been a rise in what the Aftenposten article’s headline called “[m]oral control in Oslo’s immigrant streets.” For example, a young social worker who was chowing down on a somosa one day on his way home from work through a Grønland street was confronted by two aggressive young men who demanded of him in a bullying tone: “Don’t you know it’s Ramadan? You should know better!”
Once upon a time, gays in Oslo thought of “multicultural” Grønland as gay-friendly. No more. In the fall of 2009, a gay couple walking in Grønland were kicked and yelled at by a man who told them that they were in a Muslim neighborhood where their kind was unwelcome.
This was not an isolated incident: as Stokke and Lundegaard wrote, “many others…experience an at least equally strong sense of control” in Grønland by self-appointed moral police. Muslim girls who would prefer not to wear hijab, for example, do so in Grønland simply to avoid being rebuked. The Aftenposten article quoted Fatima Tetouani, who when she moved in 2000 from Morocco to Oslo to live with her Norwegian husband, “expected a Western, open society.” “But Grønland is more Muslim than Morocco,” she told Aftenposten. “I had never seen a burka before I came here. And I had never experienced nasty looks if I ate or drank a cup of coffee during Ramadan.
Tetouani’s son had been scheduled to attend a school where...

Muslimska extremister beordrar avrättning av moderat muslim
Följande korta klipp lades just upp av kanadensiskan Irshad Manji, under rubriken "Muslim extremists order Irshad's execution" och med denna information:
Irshad is currently in Europe to promote Allah, Liberty and Love. At her December 7 event, about 20 Muslim extremists stormed in, ordered her execution and pledged to break her neck. Irshad, her hosts and the guests stood their ground. So far, two of the men have been arrested.
